'Street Food Friday' at The Woodman

Have you tried 'Street Food Friday' at The Woodman Wildhill yet? If not, you are missing a tasty treat.

We've teamed up with dozens of excellent mobile food outlets in order to ensure we offer a different menu of mouth-watering dishes served outside the pub every Friday night - and there is always something for everyone.

The food ranges from Yorkshire pudding wraps stuffed with your choice of hot fillings to wood fired pizzas cooked to perfection right outside the pub.

We've had Malaysian, Sri Lankan, India, and Chinese cuisine, Brick Lane bagels, Italian pasta, Chilli Gold Wings, Bao Buns, and even British gastro food - all served right outside our door.

All of the vendors are carefully chosen by The Woodman team to make sure that they meet the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and, most of all, customer satisfaction. And all have veggie options.

The feedback so far has been excellent.

The food bought from the street food vans can be eaten at The Woodman where we have an excellent selection of real ale, lagers, wines, cocktails and spirits - as well as soft drinks.

In the summer months you might want to eat in our beautiful beer garden where we have dozens of picnic tables. In the winter months you are welcome to come inside and sit round our cozy log fire to dine and drink.

If you don't have time to stop for a drink, you are welcome to visit the street food vans and collect a take-away meal - 'Street Food Friday' is for everybody, not just those who choose to drink in our CAMRA award-winning pub.

The vans usually turn up about 5 or 5.30pm on a Friday evening and stay until 8.30pm or 9pm - or until the food runs out. So make sure you arrive early enough to avoid disappointment.

Each week the vans serve between 60-80 covers, and that number continues to grow.
